Aria, 20 from X:IN She is the first K-pop idol from India to appear on a Korean music show. Aria, aka Gauthami, is from Kerala, a state in southern India. The artist was born on March 12, 2003. She made her debut in the K-pop industry last year, where she trained under Universe, an online training platform. It was later revealed that she was part of the idol group’s pre-debut team.
Aria of X: IN is her first K-pop idol in India, Show! She is also the first Indian woman to appear on a Korean music program. It’s considered an idol’s right of passage and is an important aspect of being a K-pop star.

X:IN is a multinational group that officially debuted with five members on April 11, 2023 with the song KEEPING THE FIRE. Two of its members are Korean (Roa, Chi. U), one Korean Australian (E.Sha), one Russian (Nova) and one, Aria, is Indian.
As the group draws attention to itself, the 20-year-old Indian K-pop idol is garnering worldwide attention. She has made several headlines in publications around the world for being the second upcoming K-pop idol from India. There has been much debate about whether Aria of X:
IN can be called India’s first or second K-pop idol. One thing everyone is sure of is that she is the second Indian woman to successfully join a K-pop idol group. X:
IN performed their first track, KEEPING THE FIRE, at Music Core on April 8 and Inkigayo on April 9. After the release, the audience showed immense love for the team and fans across India went crazy.
