Prince Harry-Prince William: Prince William called Meghan Markle “difficult”, “rude” and “abrasive”, Prince Harry said.
Prince Harry recalled an incident in his memoir ‘Spare,’ which is slated to be released on January 10, in which his brother Prince William physically attacked him during strains in their relationship over Harry’s marriage to Meghan Markle.
According to extracts posted by The Guardian, Prince Harry recalled a disagreement with Prince William in which William labelled Meghan Markle “difficult”, “rude”, and “aggressive”. Prince Harry felt it was a “repeat of the journalistic narrative” regarding Meghan Markle. However, the dispute between the two brothers erupted, and Prince William “grabbed me by the collar, tearing my necklace, and… slammed me to the floor,” according to Prince Harry.
“He laid down the drink, called me another name, and rushed at me. It all occurred so quickly. So quickly. He grabbed my collar, ripped my necklace, and threw me to the ground. I landed on the dog’s dish, which broke beneath my back and slashed into me. “I lay there confused for a time, then rose to my feet and told him to get out,” Prince Harry writes in his memoir, according to The Guardian.

Owing to the physical assault, Prince Harry says that he also had a visible injury to his back. The memoir ‘Spare’ is set to be published worldwide next week amid strain between members of the royal family and Prince Harry.
According to the book, Prince Harry did not inform his wife Meghan Markle about the event, but she subsequently spotted “scrapes and bruises” on his back.
Meghan’s reaction to the altercation was “terribly sad,” Prince Harry adds.
