“This choice is simply climate-related – crosswinds on the equal runways ultimately depend on 56km/h and more grounded blasts are conceivable,” the representative said.
Equal runway activities are supposed to return by the early evening when wind conditions are supposed to ease.
The Sydney airport spokesperson stated that passengers should contact their airline for the most up-to-date information regarding the status of their flights.
According to the Bureau of Meteorology, Sydney is expected to see winds of up to 45 km/h.
