In the last episode of Shark Tank India Season 2, Amit calls Namita Thapar a ‘Yeh husband better lag raha hai.’ This happened when she made a funny remark on a pitch.

The January 19 episode of Shark Tank India Season 2 turned hilarious with the Sharks banter with each other. After days of clashes with each other, the Sharks finally had a little fun, light-hearted moment in the previous episode. Shark Tank 2, that released on January 2, see’s entrepreneurs from different walks of life pitching their brands to some big-shot investors, also called Sharks. All the sharks were present in the previous episode including Amit Jain, Peyush Bansal, Namita Thapar, Aman Gupta, Vineeta Singh and Anupam Mittal. There were this following pitches in the episode as usual.
HIGHLIGHTS FROM SHARK TANK 2 JAN 19 EPISODE:
The occasion started with siblings Abhay Sharma and Smaritika Sharma pitching their brand called Smart Stick Guardian. Their brand makes adventure safety widgets that are equipped with a flashlight, SOS alarm, and taser for comers. It’s made to face wild creatures. Their taser contrivance can give a slight shock to creatures without doing any damage. The brace asked for Rs 51 lakh for 1 per cent equity. Watching the taser rally, Namita jokingly asked,” Ye koi abuse nahi kar sakta hai apne hubby yaa kisi par?( can’t someone abuse this on their hubby)?” While everyone laughed, Amit Jain hilariously called Namita a hubby- beater. Anupam Mittal joined in saying,” Are bhai ghar ki baat ghar mein rakha karo yahan kya bata rahi ho on public TV.”
Namita and Amit offered the couples a deal of Rs 51 lakh for 10 per cent equity. Anupam, Peyush and Aman offered of Rs 51 lakh for 12 per cent. The siblings’ counter offer was Rs 51 lakh for 2 per cent equity. In the end, the deal went to Peyush & Anupam for Rs 51 lakh for 6 per cent of equity.
In the alternate pitch, hubby and his wife duo Gitika and Anand Gupta took the stage to pitch their paratha and pakoda company. Their consumers been provided oil free, crisp, parathas and pakoras. They also have a cloud kitchen set- up. Animapn pulled Anand’s leg as he slightly spoke during the pitch. The brace’s ask was Rs 75 lakh for 25 per cent equity. All the harpies backed out except Amit Jain. He asked several questions and latterly offered them Rs 50 lakh for 5 per cent equity and Rs 25 lakh debt. Their counter offer was Rs 75 lakh for 5 per cent equity and no debt which Amit accepted.
In the last pitch of the episode, four childhood friends came on the show – Madhur, Roshan, Bhushan and Ashish. All four founders of a furniture brand that redevelops and re-uses plastic material to make furniture. Their ask was Rs 500k for 8 % equity. The friends also run a business of waste management. All the Sharks backed out of the deal in the end.
