Which is unfortunate because this is good news for current-generation players. Here is all that is currently known about the expansion.

The creators are discontinuing support for this DLC for previous generation consoles following a disastrous launch on those systems. This indicates that owners of the PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC are the only ones who can obtain the DLC.

He’s a wonderful choice for a friend or an enemy. His bulk alone provides him the power to fight Night City’s most formidable fixers. He no longer operates according to a strategy. That values beliefs held in the real world over a domain in which he has the power to judge and rule over those below him, however, and has long since abandoned that reality.
With new environments, adversaries, a vicious new finisher with the Mantis Blades, and – with just the right amount of tease – Idris Elba’s character, who appears to be a government agent helping the player on a covert operation, it certainly looks exciting. Cyberpunk 2077 is already a largely narrative-driven game with A-list talent in its cast. It’s not surprising to see a significant focus on the story in Phantom Liberty. But it’s undoubtedly interesting to hear an actor as renowned as Elba praise its story.
